Founder and owner of Clarity Realty, Greybridge Title and The Julie GR Real Estate Team, Julie Grevengoed is a veteran of West Michigan real estate with over 18 years experience and hundreds of homes sold. After a successful carreer in public accounting, she felt a strong desire to work more closely with people and what better way than to assist with the purchase and sale of one’s largest investments – your home. She is passionate for service and real estate and she hopes that you’ll give her the opportunity to prove both to you!
personal
She has been married to Mark (Band Director at Spring Lake Public Schools and Orchestra Director at Calvary Church) since August 4, 2000 and they have three two high school boys, Ethan and Ryan and a daughter Jillian who are the joy of her life!
Her most notable hobby is that she loves to run! She has run over 13 marathons including Grand Rapids, Bayshore, Detroit, New York and most notable – the Boston Marathon four times! In order to qualify for Boston, she had to drop a full hour off of her previous marathon time. She was able to do that with much dedicated hard work.
professional
Before pursuing a career in real estate she was employed in public accounting. She left this lucrative career to become a REALTOR® for two reasons: a desire for a career that had closer contact with people and her love of real estate investing.
Since the moment that she became a REALTOR® she has been constantly searching for ways to add more and more value to her clients. She have developed a marketing plan that is very effective at giving a maximum amount of exposure and giving knowledge of the property to qualified buyers which means the quickest and highest price possible. She have also developed a questionnaire that helps her to assess the needs of her buyers and get them the best house for them for the least amount of money.
In 2009, she left a major real estate firm to start JGR Real Estate (now Clarity Realty) and entered the world of being a broker. As Clarity started to grow, she developed an additional passion of helping other agents reach their full potential though classes and mentoring. She also founded Greybridge Title so clients have a “one stop shopping” experience when buying a house. Since she also is a strong believer in owning real estate, she owns several rental properties in the West Michigan. In 2015, she purchased an historic building at Bridge and Seward on in Grand Rapids and had it renovated into the Clarity Realty headquarters on what is now one of the most exciting streets in Grand Rapids.
